I have used Reflex micro whey chocolate protein powder for this recipe and fusion isolate protein powder vanilla. Depends whether you like them more creamier tasting or more chocolaty.
• 2 x Eggs
• 1 x Tspn Vanilla Extract
• 3 x Tblspn Cocoa / Cacao Powder (20-25g)
• 8 x heaped Tblspn Sweetener (powdered / granulated) (30-35g)
• 100g Peanut butter
• 100g Protein Powder
Pre-heat the oven to 175°c. Mix all of the ingredients in a blender. Once fully mixed, the mixture will feel quite hard and sticky, don’t worry and DON’T add water or anything else to thin the mixture (it won’t work, been there, done that).
By hand shape small amounts into discs, approximately ping pong ball sized and put them onto some greaseproof paper on a baking tray. Now pop the them in the oven on aprox 175-180°c for 5-6 mins, until they have hardened slightly.
Leave them to cool (they will harden as they cool), and then enjoy!
I love these cookies, it kills those sweet biscuit cravings you get whilst dieting, although be careful not to eat too many because there are still quite a few calories in them, although all good calories because of the good ingredients. Just as a guide I usually manage to get around 18-20 small biscuits out of this mixture.
